Startup Edit is the controller for personal data processed through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@startupedit.co.uk.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect pages, including IP address, browser/device information, request time, referring page and security or error logs. We use this information to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website. Startup Edit's calculators run in the browser; figures entered into a calculator are not sent to Startup Edit as part of normal use.

The site stores limited browser preferences, such as colour theme and saved bookmarks, on your device so the interface works as expected. These preferences remain on your device until you clear browser storage or remove them using the relevant site control.

When analytics is enabled, Startup Edit may measure aggregate events such as an offer being viewed, a code being copied, terms being opened or a partner link being selected. These events are used to understand whether conditions are clear and content is useful; they are not used to make a credit, eligibility or approval decision about you. We do not ask you to enter personal or financial information to use these measurements.

We use essential technical information to provide and secure the website, and—where enabled—aggregate measurement to improve it. Browser preferences remain until you clear them. We retain aggregate measurement no longer than 14 months and technical logs only for the period needed for security, troubleshooting and service operation. We do not sell personal information.

When you select a partner link, you leave Startup Edit. The provider's own privacy notice, cookies and application terms apply to information you provide there. A partner may process information needed to assess eligibility, verify identity, provide a product or meet its legal obligations. Please read the provider's current notice before sharing personal or business information.

Depending on the information involved, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability. Contact us at privacy@startupedit.co.uk to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
